This is Emily

She is about 5" tall and holds a little 2" bear doll.

I made her about a year ago and I think she is my favorite bear that I have made.

(OK Hazel your my favorite bear but she is my favorite that is not a butterfly :o)

Emily is made out of a sparse curly mohair. I love this fabric it was so easy to work with. I just wish I could find more of it.

Her little dress is cotton with a tiny ric-rack trim and her shoes are ultra suede with embroidered flowers.

This is a little primitive rabbit that I just finished. He is apx 7"

He is made up in muslin and painted. He has tiny boots on and three little buttons on his chest.

I love these prims - they make up quickly and don't have to be perfect. In fact it is the imperfections that give them their charm.

Beaded Doll Pins

I love to make doll pins. I just finished up these two.

It is so hard to get a good picture of them. I think I took about a dozen pics and settled on these :o)

They are apx 4" including the tassels.

The first one is black, orange and red with black, gold and red beads. My husband says she reminds him of lava. I'm not sure what that means ?

The second one is red and gold with black red and gold beads.
They both have a cloth over clay face.

Gone Buggy!

This is a little 5.5" butterfly/bee. She is completely hand painted with a needle sculpted face.

Her body, head skirt and wings are made out of plain muslin.

Her flowers are also made out of muslin and hand painted.

I used a gel medium to give her an aged look.

She is from a pattern by Moonchild primitives.

I am crazy for Prim dolls lately.

Welcome to Yvette's blog.

I am one of her fabulous creations. I am about 5" tall and a miniature butterfly bear. Aren't I beautiful?

Here is a picture of my wings.

I decided to start her blog for her because she is shy and will never do it.

She said that she felt silly sitting here talking to herself about herself. Isn't that silly LOL
